Ashcombe is pleased to announce that it has advised Patch Gardens Ltd (“Patch”) on its sale to Arena Online Ltd (“Arena”).

Founded in 2015, Patch has quickly grown to become the UK’s leading direct-to-consumer plant & accessories brand, having served more than 500k customers with over two million successful deliveries. It has established a reputation for excellence in quality, delivery and value, supported by unrivalled customer engagement and service.

Arena is one of the UK’s leading flower and gift delivery companies. The business is renowned for its attention to customer care and for innovation in ethical supply chains. Through its Hyperion technology, a leading fulfilment platform and first-class partnerships, Arena delivers more than a million personalised gifts directly to UK customers each year.

The businesses are highly complementary, and the growth potential and synergies that will be unlocked through the partnership will deliver significant benefits to customers, clients and both businesses more broadly. Together, the team plans to build on the joint strengths of fulfilment expertise and consumer brand development to grow into adjacent categories through organic expansion, channel development and further M&A.
