Ashcombe advises Spoke on its £8.5m Series B fundraise led by BGF

Ashcombe is pleased to announce that it has advised Spoke – the direct-to-consumer menswear brand – on its £8.5m Series B fundraise. The round was led by BGF and was well supported by existing investors, including Forward Partners, 24Haymarket, Oxford Capital & Angel CoFund.

Launched in 2014, Spoke focuses on delivering flawlessly fitting trousers by offering more sizes and finishing them to order, striking the sweet spot between ‘bespoke’ and ‘ready-to-wear’. The new capital will enable the business to develop and grow its product range beyond its core chino lines, expand its geographic reach and launch its first bricks-and-mortar store.

Ben Farren, founder & CEO of Spoke, commented:

“Thank you to the entire Ashcombe team for their invaluable advice over the last few months. They understood our goals and introduced a long-term partner for the business. We are now well-capitalised to achieve our ambition of delivering the perfect fitting pair of trousers to men across the globe.”

Simon Bullivant, partner at Ashcombe, added:

“We are delighted to have supported Spoke on their latest fundraise. They’ve created an amazing product and customer experience, and we look forward to watching them revolutionise the menswear retail space.”
