  • Ashcombe has advised Journey Hospitality on a substantial investment from Averroes Capital

  • Journey Hospitality provides hotels with e-commerce-led software solutions and tools

  • Its flagship platform (OneJourney®) aggregates all hotel products to create a cohesive & unified digital customer journey that enables multiple products to be booked online in a single basket

Ashcombe is pleased to announce that it has advised Journey Hospitality on an investment from Averroes Capital, a brand-new mid-market private equity firm that invests between £15m and £40m into growth companies.

Founded in 2010, Journey offers its 400+ clients with e-commerce-led software solutions and tools. Launched in 2022, it’s flagship platform (OneJourney®) aggregates all hotel products to create a cohesive & unified digital customer journey that enables multiple products to be booked online in a single basket. This offers convenience for customers and helps reduce admin / costs for hoteliers, in turn generating a high ROI.

The funds will enable Journey to deliver its vision to revolutionise e-commerce for clients in the hospitality sector by advancing product launches, increasing the number of integrations and achieving market expansion. Plans are also underway to further bolster the senior and wider team.

Simon Bullivant, Founding Partner of Ashcombe, commented::

“Journey is a real pioneer in e-commerce for hospitality and has already showcased remarkable growth to date. The benefits of the OneJourney® platform are clear to both hoteliers and customers, and we are delighted to have helped the business raise funds for its next stage of development.”

Simon Bullingham, Founder and CEO of Journey Hospitality, commented:

“We’ve worked closely with Ashcombe for almost a year to prepare and execute this transaction in a challenging market environment and are grateful for their advice and support. Having built a product that has proven its popularity with clients, we now have the funding for significant growth.”
